Legislative Decree no. 231 of 8 June 2001 introduced the discipline of Corporate Administrative Responsibility.
The Decree, entitled Discipline of administrative liability of legal persons, companies and associations, including those without legal personality, punishes a series of crimes, in particular those against the Public Administration (such as corruption and extortion) and corporate crimes (such as, for example, false accounting) committed by directors, managers or employees in the interest of or for the benefit of the Company. In order to prevent possible crimes and to fully respect the principles of the Decree, we have prepared a Code of Ethics organized in such a way as to represent a constant point of reference and cornerstone with respect to the conduct to be adopted. The Code of Ethics has been approved by the Board of Directors.
The Code of Ethics is therefore a document prepared, approved and adopted independently by our Company to communicate to all stakeholders the principles of corporate ethics, commitments and ethical responsibilities in the conduct of business and corporate activities which the Company intends to comply. All those who work in the Company and have contractual relations with it (suppliers, consultants, agents, credit brokers, partners, etc. ) are required to respect them.
It is therefore intended to identify the essential values, reference standards and rules of conduct that must underpin all our actions, establishing the principles that should guide the conduct of those who work with the Company.
The principles and values established are binding without exception for all company representatives, employees and any other person acting directly or indirectly in the name and on behalf of the Company.
MCE Locam S. p. A. undertakes not to start or continue any kind of relationship with anyone who does not intend to comply with the principles of the Code of Ethics.
